"Tradition" Tuesday....Pancake Tuesday!

Happy Mardi Gras!
What kind of pancakes did you have today?

At our house we had...

purple, green and gold pancakes to celebrate!

Purple for Justice
Green for Faith
&
Gold for Power!!

Just add a little food coloring to your mix and you're set!
Might look a little scary at first...
but still tastes delicious!

  7. What a cute idea! I've never seen this, I love it! I might have to try this with my own family, though I have to admit, I'm a horrible pancake maker. Now I have one more reason to practice and get better!! Fun to find your great site through Social Sunday!! I look forward to reading more!

  8. Awesome! I've had red, heart-shaped pancakes for Valentines's Day before but have never tried other colours. I just got some really potent gel food colouring, so I'll have to try this sometime soon. Yum!

  10. My son would love to have those colorful pancakes. Thanks for sharing this great idea.
Sometimes, I make pancake for my son with a face on it using raisins for the eyes, half strawberry for the nose, melted chocolate for the mouth. Try it!
