Happy President's Day!
In honor of Abraham Lincoln,
we've decided to make our own rendition of his log cabin.
We got to go to Kentucky several years ago
and visit the real one.

Pretty cool!
So, first of all, you'll need five items:
Crackers, Pretzel Sticks, Rolos, Chocolate Frosting & a Milk Carton
Next, grab the scissors and tape.
Cut off the top part of the milk container
so that it looks more like an A-Frame.
Tape it across the top to hold it in place.
Cut out a window and put a piece of scotch tape over it.
Cut out the bottom of the milk carton
if you want your cabin to be illuminated from the inside.
It will be able to sit on top of a small flashlight
or battery operated candle when it's done.
Next, frost one side of the cabin with chocolate frosting.
Add the pretzel sticks.
Repeat on the side with the window.
(You'll have to break the pretzel sticks to fit around it.)
Make the door out of a cracker and attach it with frosting.
Add a tiny bit of frosting to make the door handle.
Attach a Rolo with frosting to make the chimney.
Add frosting and pretzels to the rest of the cabin.
Tada!! Something even Abe would be proud of!

They'll love it, Pam! You can make it even simpler if you need to, by not cutting out a window or the bottom of the carton....just use another piece of a cracker for the window instead. :)
